In 2008, Mary Glenn had her first son and realized her new little family needed a Will and other important documents to assure that wishes for their family were protected.  She prepared Wills and the accompanying documents for herself and her husband, and then friends started asking for help with their estates.  She decided to make this her area of expertise, and started her own practice focusing primarily on simple estate planning and probate.  Her goal was to help clients with the very important and sometimes daunting task of planning for the future—and to do that by making it an easy and simple process.

Mary Glenn was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor in Journalism. She attended Texas Tech University School of Law and graduated with Honors. Mary Glenn’s first job as an attorney was in Lubbock, Texas, where she focused entirely on real estate and title transactions in West Texas. It was here where she learned from two seasoned West Texas attorneys about the intricacies of Texas title law. Mary then worked in Seattle dealing mainly with commercial real estate, and eventually was recruited back to Texas to work as Underwriting Counsel for Chicago Title’s Regional office in Dallas, Texas. There, she advised title agents across Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma regarding real estate transactional issues before transitioning her practice to estate planning.

Mary lives in the Dallas Metroplex with her husband and family, and has served as a volunteer and/or Board member of several community organizations. She is an avid tennis player, playing on multiple area teams each season.

Mary enjoys working in conjunction with all of Hargrave Family Law’s practice areas to expand the firm’s offerings to clients, as well as working with the amazing team at the firm.  “I have known and respected Jennifer Hargrave for years, and was excited to come on board to provide the firm’s family law clients with the necessary estate planning documents to step them up properly for the next step in their lives. This enhances the firm’s mission to fully equip their clients for the future, which everyone on this team sincerely takes to heart.”
