As a child of divorce herself, Ms. Pinnell went to law school with the specific goal to help families and children through the emotional and legal challenges involved in divorce and familial disputes. Being shaped by her blended family, her goal is to always ease the burden of the process, ensuring that clients receive expert legal representation and empathetic support through this challenging time. Through her judicial and law firm internships, as well as her legal work at Hargrave Family Law, Parker has gained insight into the intricacies of family law in Texas as well as how to provide compassionate and strong advocacy to our clients.
Parker graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University with a degree in Communication Studies as well as a minor in Public Relations. Following her graduation from college, Parker attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, graduating magna cum laude with her J.D. In law school, Parker was an active member and leader in her school’s Trial Advocacy Program, participating in intramural mock trial competitions as well as serving as the program’s Alumni and Events Chair during her 3L year. Parker also worked as a teaching assistant in the Legal Research and Writing Department, helping other students with written and oral advocacy. Parker’s favorite part of law school, however, was working as a student practitioner in the Family Law section of the Stuart H. Smith Clinic and Center for Social Justice. During her time as a student practitioner, Parker served as an attorney Ad Litem, helped families obtain guardianships, and helped a grandmother obtain custody of her six grandchildren.
Parker is an alumnus of the Chi Omega sorority, as well as the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. She has experience volunteering with The Make-A-Wish Foundation, as well as the non-profit agency of Disability Rights Louisiana, whose mission is to protect, advocate, and empower those with disabilities.
Born and raised in the Dallas area, Parker returned and still lives here today. In her free time, Parker enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
“Helping other people has always been a pillar in my life. Working at Hargrave Family Law gives me the opportunity to guide and navigate people through the emotional weight of divorce in a caring and helpful way.” She is grateful that the Hargrave Family Law team truly believes in a compassionate approach to family law and strives to empower their clients as they navigate one of the toughest times in their lives. “Our mission of collaboration and crafting creative solutions is something that I am excited and proud to be a part of. We can help show clients there is a better path forward, inspiring them to focus on their future with optimism.”
